OUR
HISTORY
With only three
sauces and a four burner electric stove, Tony started small.
The "old" Anton’s Pasta, established in 1983, consisted
of nine tables and one very dedicated man.

When Tony opened
Vancouver’s original pasta bar his vision was simple: good
food at an affordable price and lots of it!
The word was out.
It was hard, even for the hungriest of people, to finish the
huge portions served up at Anton’s Pasta. If you did finish
your plate, Tony went out of his way to ensure you left feeling
full and satisfied.

A loyal neighbourhood
following soon started to grow, and line-ups became a regular
sight on Hastings Street.
It was more than
just the good food that brought people back again and again.
The casual atmosphere and friendly staff, along with Tony’s
warm Calabrian hospitality made everyone feel at home. This
is how it all began.
Anton’s moved
to its present location in 1989 to accommodate the always
growing clientele. Since then Tony has expanded his menu to
include exotic new pasta creations along with his mother’s
traditional family recipes.

Many of the original
staff are still part of the Anton’s "family" so
a familiar face, like April’s, will always be here to welcome
you.
Here at Anton’s
we still embrace Tony’s original philosophy: eat lots, feel
at home and have fun!
